Hello. I know....it's been a long time. ((sigh)) I am sorry for my lack of updating here, but I was getting kind of tired of using this journal. I kept it just in case I wanted to come back to it at a later date. And now.......well, I'm back! To be honest, the only reason I kept it was because this is where I wrote about my pregnancy with Lex and I didn't want to lose any of those words. I may take the time one day to go through every post about my pregnancy, cut and paste them into a file on my computer so I'll have them. I've been so busy lately, I barely have time for myself anymore, let alone to do all that! LOL!!

Anyway. I'm here and things are great! Lex is turning into a little boy already. He's walking, talking, dancing, running, cleaning up his messes (only a little bit, I do most of the work LOL!) and he's everywhere at once! I can hardly keep up!

Raven is such a little lady now. She'll be starting middle school in the fall! MIDDLE SCHOOL! WOW! Time really does fly by! She's a huge help with Lex. She'll take him outside to play, give him a bath, feed him and play with him. She loves being a big sister!❤

Kevin and I are doing awesome! We want to start trying to have another baby soon. Not sure how soon though. We just want to have another one so Lex will have someone to play with his own age. I don't know if we'll survive with another baby in the house, we may die from exhaustion, but we'll see. Millions of people do it everyday, so I'm sure we'll manage.

I'm about to go to bed now. I've been really sick these past couple of days, so I need my rest. I'll leave you with some pictures.....

Sorry it's been so long, I haven't had much time to really sit down and update as much as I like to. Things have been hectic, but great. Having a toddler in the house really speeds things up. The only time I have to sit down is when he's watching his Baby Einstein or napping. I'm not complaining though, I love it. He has an ear infection and his first molars are coming in. My poor baby! He actually goes to the drawer where I keep the Motrin and hits at it whining. He let's me know when he's in pain. Either that or he's a Motrin junkie! Just kidding.

Raven is doing great. It seems like she's in a constant state of PMS. I try to remember that she can't help it, it's the hormones. It's tough at times, but she has more good days than bad ones. This week is MCAS and she's a nervous wreck about them. I told her not to worry, just to take her time and think. She'll do great, she always does.

Kevin and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday. SIX whole years. It was nice. We took the kids out to eat at Legal Seafood and we stuffed our faces. Raven and Lex had a blast!! She kept making Lex crack up by just looking at him! Silly! We got home late and Lex caught a second wind. Then he crashed. LOL!! Gotta love kids.

I've been using my other journal a lot more than this one. It has more features, more privacy options and I've had it for a while, so I'm comfy there. I've also been looking for new layouts for my website, which I've ignored for way too long now. I found the mother load of pre-made layouts for websites, myspace, blogger, xanga & livejournal! It's awesome.

Every morning I like to take some "me" time. Every Mother needs "me" time. Well.....I always spend it with my son. We play on the floor, he chases me, I chase him, we eat breakfast together.......stuff like that. That's the kind of "me" time I like.♥ Here's a few pictures I took yesterday and a video of him waiting for Raven to get out of the shower. He follows her everywhere and waits outside the bathroom till she's done, then follows her into her room. It's so friggin' cute!!!!

I forgot how much work toddlers are. I'm having a hard time keeping up!! He's fast, smart and very stubborn. He's lucky he's so damn cute. Not a lot to tell. I've been really busy here at home and work. I did go to the movies last Friday. I saw 300. GREAT movie! Fantastic!!!!!! I have to go see it again, I just simply must. Not only is it a great story, the men were outstanding as well!!! I've never seen so many hard bodied, good looking dangerous men in one film before in my life! I was in Heaven.

DH has been telling me that Lex can whistle. Of course I'm like..."Yes, Dear...of course he can whistle.". It's not that I don't believe him, it's just that, well, Lex is just 1. Tuesdays I always work late and I get home around 9, sometimes later. Those are the nights when Lex wakes up and I have to go in and rub his back until he goes back to sleep. Last night was different.....he wanted to play with me. I was exhausted, so I just made a makeshift bed on the floor and I laid him down next to me. That didn't work because now he can get to the toys. I just kind of laid there for 15 minutes watching him, really unable to do anything while he climbed all over me, kissed me, hugged me (which actually kind of hurts ), then he just sort of got quiet and sat there looking at me. I could tell he was really tired, so I laid him next to me, he didn't like that. I looked at him and said...."Ducky, Mommy knows you're tired and Mommy is tired, too. You're not going to like this, but I'm going to lay you in your crib, but I'll be right here on the floor so you can see me.". As soon as I put him in his crib he started crying. I just put my face down and pretended not to hear him. He continued to cry, when that didn't work he started fussing at me. I could feel him staring at me, too. It was so hard not to look when he was fussing, cause he's so cute when he does it. Well he got real quiet all of a sudden, but I knew he was still staring at me. Then all of a sudden he started whistling at me!!!!!!!!!!!! OHG!!!! Of course I sat right up and looked at him and said..."Did you just whistle at me?!"...he started cracking up!!!!!!!!!! I could not believe it! Of course it worked.....I picked him up and rocked him for 10 minutes till he fell asleep. Little shit. He was sitting there in his crib trying to get my attention and when the usual two didn't work, he broke the big guns!!!

After he fell asleep, I put him in his crib, just started at him for about 5 minutes , then went back to bed. After I laid down, DH whispered...."I told you he could whistle."......he had been laying in the enjoying the show the whole time! I just couldn't bring myself to be angry with him though

Well......it's official. My baby boy is now a toddler. I can't believe it's been a whole year. A WHOLE YEAR! Every time I look at him, I want another one. I want to start all over again! He's so independent now. He plays all by himself, gets the toys that he wants out by himself and he sleeps through the night. He's still asleep right now! It must be a growth spurt, not that he needs to grow any more! LOL!!!

His birthday party was on Saturday. We had about 15 people here. It was nice. Lex got tons of new toys, of course! He's been busy ever since. LOL! Kevin and I bought him 3 things. A toy remote control, because he cannot keep his hands off of ours, a Fisher Price Interactive Baby Grand Piano and a Bounce & Spin Zebra. I think we're going to open that once we get settled into the new house. We just can't fit any more toys in his room! It's ridiculous! LOL! I'll take a picture of it one day just so you can see how crazy it is in there. LOL!!

I don't have anything to do today. Kevin and I cleaned up real good after the party. I do have to start packing soon though. I don't even want to think about that right now, but I guess I have to. I've already made a list of what goes where and where I should start packing. Poor Raven is upset because we have to pack all of her things away and move to a new town. She's excited about the house, just very nervous about being the "new girl". Totally understandable! She'll do great though. She's so outgoing and sweet, she's bound to make friends fast. She'll be fine.

Me, on the other hand.....I may not be so great! This whole thing is so overwhelming, I don't know what to do! I just want to be in there already!!! The inspection is on Wednesday, so if everything looks great, we're good to go! Kevin and I will both be there, so I'll get to take tons of pictures then. The people who live there now take really good care of the house, so I'm not worried about it. Everything will be great and we'll be able to move into our new home soon!

I have tons of pictures from Lex's party. I may get around to posting them laster. Right now I have got to make chocolate chip pancakes for someone's breakfast. That's his new favorite. I can hear him in there talking to his stuffed animals. He sleeps with his Curious George monkey and his Gingy (gingerbread man). Every morning when he wakes up, he lays in there and "talks" to them. LOL! It's so darn cute!!

Tomorrow our little boy will be 1. ((sigh)) Where does the time go? He will officially be a toddler at 3 a.m.! It shows, too. This morning he was sitting on the kitchen floor shaking his head and screaming.....for no reason at all. I guess he thought it was fun. LOL!!! It's so cute. Raven just looked at him and said...."Yup...he's a boy alright. Nothing he does makes sense!".

In other news.....we got the house! They accepted our offer. I still can't believe it. I'm afraid to be too, too happy about it, just in case something goes wrong. It could all fall apart and then I'd be devastated. Of course I'd get over it and keep looking, but this house is perfect for us. When we went to look at it, Kevin and I both agreed that it felt like we already lived there. It was nice. So we're keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly.

Lex's party is tomorrow. We decided to have it here and only invite a few people. There will be 20 people all together. Yeah.......just a few people my behind! UGH! I didn't want to have it here because I have to work tonight, so I have ZERO time to clean. All that really needs to be done are the floors and we have to move the table and chairs into the other room. I don't want everyone in the kitchen, that 's my space. LOL!! GET OUT!! The party is from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.! What was I thinking?!?!?! I ordered all the food online from the store down the street, that cuts out 1 major thing I had to do. They deliver as well, which is great! I have too much to do tomorrow as it is, I don't want to be stuck at the store.

I had ordered the Baby Einstein party pack with decorations, but I found something I liked better while we were ordering his balloons. This is what it looks like......




So cute!!! We can use the Baby Einstein next year. I'm sure he'll still love it! He is Baby Einstein crazy!!! LOL!!! Just when we think we have every one of them, we find one that we don't have. I told Kevin that I want to start buying all the Disney DVDs, too. He's going to want to see them, so we might as well get them now. Peter Pan is coming out of the vault soon, so we'll start with that one. Raven has all the Princess DVDs already, so we don't have to buy them. I don't even know if he'll want to watch the girly ones or not. I have no idea what to expect, he's my first little boy. Hopefully not my last one!

I have to go straighten up now. I may be back later if it's dead at work.

 We put an offer on a house. I'm so excited, yet very nervous at the same time. The house is HUGE, but the yard isn't. I was hoping to find a hosue with a yard big enough for me to do dog sitting, but we just can't pass this house up. It's perfect. Kevin says that we can find a place to rent later on down the line for my business. That's later, later though. One thing at a time. We should know within the next few days if they accept or not. The house has been on the market for a long time, so I'm hoping that works in our favor. When we walked in, it felt like we already lived there. I can't wait to find out if we got it or not. I just want to know!!!!!

Poor Lex has had this cold for almost 2 weeks now. We took him in to be seen and his doctor said that it's just a cold and cough, nothing to worry about. Thank goodness!!!! That was a relief. He's just so congested still and his nose is constantly needed to be cleaned out. Gross.

I've got to open and close tomorrow. My boss's dog got out of the yard and has been missing for 2 days. She's miserable. I don't blamer her, I'd be a mess if something happened to one of my dogs. I think it's worse not knowing if they're okay, safe, cold or hurt. I think that would be worse.

Gotta run!

Kevin and I went out together twice this weekend. TWICE! We took Raven out to eat and then we went to see NORBIT, which was great, by the way!. She had a blast. We really miss doing things like that with her. It's just so hard with Lex and no one near us to watch him. My Mom is going to start coming up more often so we can take Raven out like we used to.

Then Saturday night we had a birthday party to go to. It was our friend Canty's 25th birthday, so we went out and had a great time. I'll post pictures later, I don't have the time to upload them right now. We didn't get home till 3 a.m., which is just way too late for me. I've been super tired lately for some odd reason. Must be PMS. UGH! Needless to say, I am still tired from being out all night. I can not be doing that any more. I slept till 1 in the afternoon on Sunday. heheheee!! That was nice. I let Kevin and my Mom take care of the kids. I needed that break. Bad!

That's about it for today. I've got some things to do around the house and Lex has an appointment at 2 this afternoon. I think he has RSV. Ugh! I sure hope not.

I just made an appointment to get a facial, manicure and a pedicure. I can't wait! I'm in dire need of all three. I'm very lucky to have great skin, so I only need a facial once in a while. It'll be a nice day for me. Kevin is going to get a massage while I'm getting my stuff done. He needs it. The poor guy has been so stressed lately. Just lots of work to do, looking for a house and he thought he lost his phone this morning, but I found it. It still stressed him out though. Poor thing.

Speaking of houses.....we found one. It's so beautiful!! I can't wait to post pictures. We're going to make an offer on it Monday, but we have one more house to look at. The house we're looking at on Monday is 3-4 bedrooms, fenced in back yard and an above ground pool. If it's better than the first one, we're going to put an offer on it right then and there. I'm so excited!! This means that we'll be in a new house before the Summer after all!! WOOT WOOT!!!  The house isn't occupied either, so we could move in as soon as we close. YAY!!! Not only that, but it's cheaper. YAY!!!

That's about it for now. My Mother is here again for the weekend, so we're taking Raven to the movies. Geesh...we haven't all been to the movies together since I was pregnant. I miss that.  Oh well. Soon little man will be able to go with us. Well....not that soon, but still.

Raven and I have been spending way more time together lately. She hasn't been going to over to her friends' houses as much as she used to. It's nice. Kevin just got us tickets to the Central MA Flower Show at  the DCU Center here in town. She's going to love that. They really weren't kidding when they said to "spend as much time with them while they're young, because once they become teenagers, you'll be begging for time!". LOL! It's so true. I remember my grandmother & mother telling me that when she was first born. I'm glad I listened. When she was little we would take her to every Disney On Ice show there was, Britney Spears concert, Madonna concert, Shakira (more for daddy, but Raven loved it, too) and every weekend we would be out and about doing fun things with her. It was nice. Now she looks back on all the things she's done and she's very happy. Which makes me very happy.

That's going to be a busy weekend. I hate having a lot to do, it makes me nervous. LOL! Silly, but it does. I become overwhelmed very easily. I can do anything, but I prefer not to push myself. We were planning on having a big party for Lex's 1st birthday, but decided against it. Just someting very small here at the house. Even that may be too much. I just sent Kevin a message asking if we should do it some place else. I don't want to deal with the mess. LOL! I'M SO LAZY!!!!!!!

Lex actually threw a temper tantrum yesterday. I couldn't believe it!!! It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. It all started when I wouldn't let him get into the kitchen drawer, so I just rolled him (he was in his walker)to the other room. Well! He did not like that. He started screaming as loud as he could, then the crying started with no tears in sight, he then proceeded to pcik up his walker, yes, he was still in it, and bang the front of it over and over again on the floor.  Kevin and I just looked at each other and were like..."WTF is going on?!" I just stood back and watched as Kevin tried t talk to him. Lex rammed him with hs walker!  I couldn't help myself....I laughed I knwIshouldn't av, ut itwas jst oo amnfny Her is histn ltle boy, only 11 months old, and he already has such a strong personality. Kevin looked at me and said..."This is all your fault, you know?!", he was upset and he actually thought it was my fault!! Of course I just had to ask..."Why is this my fault?"..."Because he acts just like you!! This is you!!! You and your anger!!". I just looked at him and said..."Well, you know.....I'm not the one who throws a fit when I don't get what I want. That's you! You act just like that, not me. Now the ramming.....the ramming he got from me." I just walked away at that point and let him deal with it. I still can't believe he tried to blame Lex's temper tantrum on me! AH! He's the big baby, not me. I'm just mean.

He hasn't done it since, but I have a feeling we're going to be seeing a few of those. I do not tollerate temper tantrums. Not one bit! Thank God Raven was never like that. I never had a problem when I took her out places or at home. She was a very stubborn child though, and still is. I can't wait to see how Lex is going to be. He really is a sweet little boy. Always hugging and kissing and he's never mean. Just that one time he freaked out about the drawer. I don't know, we'll see.

He's doing so much "talking" lately. He can say cat, dog, Mama, Dada, Nina and num-nums (food). Some times we hear him say things, but he never repeats the words. We know he said it, because it's always more than one of us who heard it. He also started bringing me things and trying to make me eat them. LOL! Of course you have to pretend to eat it. He likes that.

Okay, this is going to be a long entry, so I'm going to take a break, get some tea, do some paper work and I'll be back to finish up in a bit.

That's better!!! It's taking me forever to finish this. I started at 1:35, but I keep having to stop to get things done here at work. I opened for Yolanda today and I'll be closing as well. 1-8 p.m.! It's a nice break from home. I love my family, but I'd go crazy if I didn't get out every now and then. And since I don't like going out clubbin' or to bars, work it is! LOL!!! I like it here.

Kevin was away all weekend. Convention season has begun!!! He's going to be gone a lot over the next 5 months or so. It kind of sucks, but oh well. It's worth it in the rnd when Rock & Shock does so well. WOOT! WOOT!!! Of course poor Lex was sick all weekend and we didn't get much sleep. My poor baby was so miserable. I tried putting him in bed with me and he slept right next to me all cuddled up, but Ididn't sleep well at all. Every little noise or movement he made had me jerking awake. LOL! I was so afraid he'd wake up and fall off the bed, so I didn't sleep much at all. He loved it. As soon as he woke up he looked and me and started laughing and trying to hide under the overs. He's so cute.

Raven is gone as well. She's with my Mother till tomorrow night. We have a few houses to look at with Kathy at 2, then after we're done we're going to get her. She's so ready to come home. Her and my Mom stop getting along after the first 48 hours..........they've been together since Friday. LOL!!!!

Lately I've been surfing the web more. I've come across some really great sites. There are so many parenting message boards out there! It's crazy!!! I ran across one and the intro had me cracking up. Go read it for yourself.....Sybermoms! Personally....I never give fake replies. If I don't have anything nice to say, I just don't say anything at all. LOL! I used to just say whatever was on my mind, but I've leaned that you treat people the way you want to be treated. Karma.....it's real.

That's pretty much it for today. OH!! Kevin got me flowers. He said I deserved them for putting up with him. LOL! Damn straight! heheheee!! No, but really though, they are so beautiful! I'll leave you with a nice picture......

That every time we go out to Babies-R-Us or Target or anywhere, that I end up spending all this money on things that I think we need. We do need them, but I didn't remember them at home, so obviously it wasn't that important.....right? For example.....yesterday we went to Babies-R-Us and I bought more bottles. Why? Because I don't like keeping bottles for too long, it grosses me out. Don't know why, it just does. No ammount of boiling will make a difference. So you see, I didn't need the bottles, obviously, I just wanted them. I should not go shopping because I'm an impulsive buyer. I just can't help myself.

Yesterday was Raven's birthday. She is now 11 years old. ((sigh)) My baby girl isn't much of a baby girl any more. She is turning into a little lady. We took her shopping and then out to eat. She had a blast. She's leaving for Maine today with my mother and sister. She won't be back until Tuesday. It's just be and my little man this weekend, but he's sick, so we're staying in. Poor little thing has bad cough. I'm hesitant to take him to the hospital because I'm afraid they'll put him in one of those medievil torture devices that they put poor Gibson in. He doesn't have a fever any more, so I'm thinking that he's just got a cold. If his fever comes back or his cough gets worse, I'll take him in in the morning to the Sick Clinic. Hopefully it won't come to that though.

I'm going to go finish doing laundry and stuff like that. I still don't know if I'm working today or not. It all depends on how Lex is feeling. Kevin is going to be away this weekend, too, which makes it hard since I can't take Lex to work with me because he's sick. Blah! I'll figure something out. It's Valentine's Day and it's snowing/hailing/sleeting here. I finally got my wish! YAY!!!! It's also freezing!!! Raven got up this morning and said she was going to shovel driveways and sidewalks for money, I gave her $20 and told her to start out front. I'll pay her until she's 13, then she does it for free, because I said so. LOL! I'm so mean. She loves doing stuff around the house and helping out, so I don't mind paying her for doing something hard like shoveling. She is only 10. Well, technically she's 11, since this time 11 years ago I was in active labor.

My baby is going to be 11 tomorrow. ((sigh)) Where does the time go? It just zipped by. We're taking her out to dinner, then shopping. No big party this year. The next big party will be the 13th. She's already talking about it. I told her to get past 11 & 12 first!

I'm really tired again today for some reason. OH! I remember why! Because I was at work trying to fix the computer till almost 9, then I had to run to the mall to get Kevin's present that I ordered, then I had to go to the grocery store. I didn't get into bed until almost 11:30. I'm going to bed early tonight! I was supposed to go get my new tattoo, but I don't think I want to go out in this weather. I'd rather make a big dinner myself, then cuddle up with the hubby. Maybe even a little hanky panky, if I make it that far. Too funny!

I woke up this morning and knocked over one of the cards Kevin had made me. He wrote me a love letter on parchment paper and sealed it with red wax. He's so sweet. I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have him here with me. There are lots of wives who's husbands are over in Iraq this Valentine's Day. I can't even begin to imagine being away from Kevin for that long. A month would be fine (LOL!), but not for a year! I would miss him too much.

Enough of this sappy crap! I've got to go take a shower while my kids are playing. I love having Raven home from school. She helps so much with Lex. I am so glad I waited to have another child this long! LOL! It's like having a mini-me and it's like Lex has another Mommy. ♥ I like that.

I don't know why I'm so tired. I went to bed at a decent hour last night. Maybe I shouldn't have watched 24, but I just can't help myself, I love that show!!!! It may have been from all the crap I was doing yesterday. Nothing major, just lots of picking up and putting up, then I swept and mopped. The usual. Well, I hope Kevin gets home early so I can get a nap before work. It's Tuesday, I work till 8 p.m.. Ugh.

Lex has been sleeping a lot lately. Must be a growth spurt. He's not eating as much though. It seems like all he wants is the bottle. Fine with me. He's been really congested lately. Lots of snot. Gross. He hates me cleaning his nose, so that's no fun. I remember when Raven was this age. She was so smart! She would blow her nose if I told her to, she was already walking/running around everywhere, she would pick up her toys and put them away and she was great at feeding herself. She was just a great little girl and still is. She grew up too fast though. I like that Lex is still so dependent on me. I wish he would stay like this forever!♥

Since i have to work all night, I may have time to change my layout. I forgot that I had some Valentine's Day backgrounds and stuff. I may play around later, maybe. If it's not too busy at the store. I love that picture of him to the left. Kevin bought that outfit for him almost a month ago. He's all ready for Valentine's Day!

Kevin is going away this weekend. SEE YA LATER!!! LOL! I love him and all, but damn, sometimes I just need some time alone. I told him I was going to run away one day for a weekend. Look what Kevin bought me for Valentine's Day!!!!!!










I LOVE IT!!! WOOTWOOT!! I've wanted that thing for years!! We were out one night a few years ago and I saw this girl wearing one and I stopped her to admire her bracelet and when she told me where she got it from and how much it cost, I was like..."Oh. Oh well. It is beautiful though!". I didn't think Kevin remembered. I thought for sure I was getting a vacuum cleaner. Uhmmm....wait a minute! I still need a vacuum cleaner! LOL!!!! I guess I'll have to buy that for myself now. hehehehee!!! That's fine with me! I'm going to go put it away till I have somewhere to wear it, like the grocery store. HAHAHAHAAA!!!!

We just got home from Providence. What a long day. We had tons of fun though. We definitely need to do that more often. It's so much easier now that Lex is older. Going out with a newborn-6 months is tough. It helps now that he eats whatever we eat, but then again, he only wants what we're eating. LOL! He refuses to eat baby food now that he's had a taste of the good stuff!

Anyway! We went to Providence Place Mall to do a little shopping. It was more like a lot of shopping! My feet are killing me. We didn't even make it through the whole mall, it's that big. I think we were there for 5 1/2 hours or so. I finally got a chance to stop in William-Sonoma and get a new crepe pan. Yay! I also got some Valentine's Day kitchen towels, cleaners, spatula and crepe and pancake mixes. I was super excited about that! Forget jewelry, give me household appliances and cookware! Speaking of which, I told Kevin that I want a new vacuum cleaner for Valentine's Day. Yes, you heard me right.....a vacuum cleaner. That would make me happy.

We also went to the APPLE store to look at some laptops. I think Kevin may buy one for himself. In other words.......I may be getting a new laptop. I'm so mean. Raven got a few things today as well. She had some gift cards that she had forgotten about. She said she felt like she was using a credit card. So now for her birthday, she wants gift cards. I wish she'd make up her mind. Silly girl.

I went to Charlotte Russe to get some new jeans and ended up buying 4 new outfits, some rings, pj's and undies. I don't really like their tops though. The store looked like Holly Hobbit threw up all over the place. Everything looked like doll clothes. I still got a few things though. We also stopped in GUESS to see if they had anything and they didn't. I just wasn't in the mood to shop. Well......I'm never in the mood to shop. Poor Kevin didn't get anything for himself. That's okay though, he can go tomorrow while I'm at my sister's house.

Speaking of which.........I better get to bed, I have to leave here at noon. Ugh. Sweet dreams!!!

I'm still sick, but not as sick as I was. I'm feeling a lot better. I just have cold now. I hate having a stuffy nose all the time. I think I may have gave it to Kevin and Lex. Poor Lex is all congested and his nose is stuffy. Poor little man. But other than that things are great. No work for me this week. I need to rest and get better. I don't want to spread my germs around.

I'm taking my Chewy to get his nails cut today. We're going to PetsMart. He hates riding in the car, he gets car sick. LOL!! Poor little thing. He throws up everything and anything he's had to eat in the past week! Or so it seems. Just gross. He can't eat all day if we're taking him somewhere or else it'll be a big mess in the car. So today should be fun.

That's about it really. My house is a mess. Nothing has gotten done in days. It's going to stay that way, too. I'm in no mood to be doing housework in this condition. BLAH! I'll let Kevin do it. LOL!!! Ok, I'm going to lay down with Lex for a while.

Over at Justmommies we're having another Host contest. It's a game where each host has a challenge they have to compete and we get points for them. This time the mods have put us in teams and one of our challenges was to come up with a name. So we chose Hosts With The Most! It was either that or The Spankers, but that was just too broad of a word and we didn't want people to think we were child abusers or perverts. HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!!!! So yeah, that's what I've been up to in my spare time. Kevin tries to help with the questions I need to come up with, and I stress the word "tries". He's so great. Most guys would hate it that their wives are a part of an online forum, but he thinks it's better than me being out doing God knows what. I'm never on when he or Raven are home. I'm only there when Lex is napping or watching Baby Einstein. The mornings are usually when I'm there. Lex is napping right now and after he wakes up, I take him to his room to change him and then we play for an hour or so. Sometimes we nap together on the floor. I've also started trying to teach him the alphabet. I make it a game, of course. He loves it! I sing and clap and he gets so excited! Since he started saying more words, I thought it might be time to introduce a few more things. Kevin wants to buy flash cards, which is fine by me, just as long as it's still a game and not work! I want him to have fun and play! He is still my baby boy!

So that's it really. I'm super tired today because I was sick the past few days. I think I lost 10 pounds. I feel like I look sickly. Too skinny at my height isn't pretty. I love being tall. We're still looking for a house. I won't settle and that's that. Kevin is still brooding over the first house we looked at. He loves it, but I don't. And like I said........I won't settle. PERIOD! We were supposed to look at one yesterday, but I didn't want to spread my flu germs everywhere. That's the last thing people need. See? I'm courteous. Okay, gotta run!
